Who we are
This website is run by Dark Matter Software Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17514092, registered office Otterwood Cottage, Fenside, East Kirkby, Spilsby, PE23 4DD. We are the data controller for the personal information described here.
What we collect
This website has no forms, accounts, cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write.
How we use it
We use what you send us only to reply to you and, if you ask, to discuss or provide our software. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering enquiries people send us. We don't sell or share your information for marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Microsoft 365 hosts our email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, then delete them. If nothing follows from an enquiry, we delete it within two years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@darkmattersoftware.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
